I took the Massachusetts Bar exam in July 1980 so it has been some time, obviously. Do try and relax the day before. Make sure you rest and enjoy your stay in the hotel. I also recall, I think it was Bernard’s advice, don’t eat fish or was it shellfish the night before the exam? Just do the best you can and I am sure you will do fine. Make sure you bring pens in the same color ink. For some dumb reason, I didn’t realize it, I brought a blue and a black ink pen with me to the written exam part. I ran out of ink in one pen and to my horror, when reaching for the other pen, I found it was a different color. I wrote on the exam book, I apologize for the two different inks but I just ran out of ink and didn’t have a replacement pen in the same ink color. And I passed!
